Arusyak Julhakyan Discusses Armenia’s Reform Agenda with Deputy Ambassador of France

The Deputy Chair of the NA Standing Committee on State and Legal Affairs, the deputy of the Civil Contract faction Arusyak Julhakyan met with the Deputy Ambassador of the Republic of France to Armenia Christophe Katsahian on February 28.
 
The processes of establishing democracy in Armenia were debated, the agenda of the reforms implemented in various fields was introduced. They referred, in particular, to large-scale reforms in the judicial and police spheres. A detailed reference was made to the process of constitutional reforms.

Speaking about the involvement of women in political processes, Arusyak Julhakyan mentioned that women are active in parliament, they have been entrusted with a number of state positions.

There was a reference to the security environment created around Armenia and Artsakh, the illegal blockade of the Lachin Corridor: in this context, the support of international partners was underscored. The work aimed at spreading the French language in Armenia was also at the core of the interlocutors' debate.
